With a background in fashion media, she is drawn to the emotional and cultural layers behind visual work. Star's practice explores themes of identity, memory and belonging, often through quiet yet intentional imagery. Inspired by everyday moments and the beauty found in intimacy, she approaches her work with care and sensitivity.
Star hopes to create visuals that not only reflect personal stories but also speak to broader experiences within fashion, culture and the spaces in between.

Ma. is a photo-led publication centred on the life of the artist’s mother, using personal imagery, interviews and objects to reflect on her resilience and identity.
While deeply intimate, the publication also opens a space for broader reflection on motherhood—its emotions, complexities and quiet, often unseen strength.
