Anna Makukhina

Anna is a movement artist, choreographer and educator from Russia who is currently based in Singapore.

With a strong foundation in street dance, she explores krump, African street styles and traditional dance forms. Anna's work emphasises dance as a tool for communication, self-expression and social commentary.

Anna has received professional education in dance, choreography and pedagogy from institutions in Russia and Singapore. She has over a decade of experience in dance education, focusing on technical development, cultural awareness and emotional depth. Her teaching fosters individuality and confidence, using dance to promote personal growth and community building.

As a choreographer, Anna addresses pressing social issues, challenging societal norms and encouraging thought-provoking dialogue through movement.
