Zuan Hao Toh (Javeus)
With over 13 years of experience engaging with the natural world, Javeus's artistic practice is shaped by ephemeralism, sustainability and a profound respect for the delicate balance between resilience and decay.
Through his time in the MA Art Therapy programme at LASALLE College of the Arts, he conducted art therapy for primary school children in Singapore, focusing on eco art therapy to support emotional regulation and self-expression. His clinical work integrates psychodynamic processes, sensory experiences and nature-based materials to bridge the gap between children and the natural world.
Javeus's personal art practice explores space—both physical and mental—through sculpting and engraving, using found materials like driftwood to evoke introspection, memory and the passage of time.
