Yesha Sheth
Yesha is an art therapist, fine artist and multidisciplinary designer who is graduating with an MA Art Therapy degree from LASALLE College of the Arts in Singapore. Prior to LASALLE, she graduated with a BFA Integrated Design degree from Parsons School of Design in New York.
Yesha's clinical experience from her time in the MA Art Therapy programme entailed providing psychodynamic art psychotherapy to children, adolescents and adults from diverse cultural backgrounds, particularly those impacted by complex trauma from abuse, neglect and household dysfunction.
Grounded in mindfulness, reflection and spirituality, Yesha's artistic practice explores the balance of holding others' inner experiences while tending to her own. In a space where emotional landscapes can transform and healing can coexist, an art of empathy, introspection and balance is what she strives to create.

Holding, Feeling, Healing explores the reality of empathetic pain, reflecting the artist’s experience as an art therapist trainee working with adolescent females impacted by complex trauma.
The installation navigates the intersubjective nature of therapeutic relationships, where space is created for vicarious resilience, compassion satisfaction and mutual healing. It allegorically represents the containment of psychological distress and the processing of empathetic pain through mindfulness, reflection and spirituality.
Embodying the artist’s cultural identity, the artwork symbolises the continuous journey of supporting and holding clients’ emotional landscapes, while also grappling with the vicarious experiences inherent in trauma-informed art therapy practice.
