Wang Zhiling
Previously from the hospitality sector, Zhiling decided to make a mid-career switch to pursue her interest in art and create more meaningful interactions with people.
Through the MA Art Therapy programme at LASALLE College of the Arts, she has had the opportunity to provide therapeutic services to seniors, adolescents and children with special needs. Working with clients in her two clinical placement settings has broadened Zhiling’s perspective of the art therapy continuum of practice.
In her own art-making, Zhiling finds attunement and self-discovery in her creative explorations. She hopes to use her knowledge and skills as an art therapist to facilitate an empowered voice to individuals living with varying abilities through their own creative art expressions.

Each drawer silently holds stories woven with emotions, memories and experiences that whisper life. Stories of the artist as a woman and daughter, graduating art therapist and a child of God—seemingly separate chapters that perfectly merge into one.
