Natalie Tee Yen Sean
Having undergone medical school and work as a junior doctor in Hong Kong, Natalie realised a need to rediscover the essence of holistic care and the humanities in the art of medicine. This led her to enrol in the MA Art Therapy programme at LASALLE College of the Arts to meld her passions for arts and healing.
Natalie’s clinical internship experiences with children and older adults in a medical setting opened her eyes to how the arts could connect and heal souls.
In the future, she aims to continue delivering a person-centred therapeutic approach whilst advocating for creative art therapies amongst healthcare professionals.

In Time is a sculptural exploration of the ephemerality of life and memories the artist felt while working with people in end-of-life care and those living with dementia.
Embedded within the winding skins of solidified acrylic paint are fragments of time and memories crystallised within the ocean of therapeutic connections. As solidified paints evolve into rising streams of water, so will these transient echoes be carried forth and find permanence as they grow into new tributaries.
The meaning of all that came to pass will be made known in the flow of time.
