Abdullah Zulhilmie bin Budiman
With a bachelor of arts in sociology and several years of experience working with youths and disenfranchised communities, Zul has strong faith in the power of art not just as a tool to communicate, but also as an instrument for healing.
He pursued an MA in Art Therapy at LASALLE College of the Arts in order to integrate his interest in artistic expression with the knowledge gained from his undergraduate training. Through his academic journey, Zul has had the honour of providing art psychotherapy to neurotypical and neurodivergent adolescents, as well as conducting workshops informed by art therapy for adults.
Zul hopes to employ the modality of art therapy in educational settings, and believes that integrative and holistic therapeutic intervention during our formative years is essential to healthy and positive development.

Into Wonderland is a physical manifestation of perception and connection.
As individuals, each of us have our own understanding of reality. In forming a genuine connection—be it within the therapeutic space or outside of it—we create a beautiful intersubjective reality where we perceive one another as sincerely and truthfully as we can.
The artist believes that every interaction is fated to be woven into this tapestry of shared realities.
