Tamaara Shan
Tamaara epitomises the triple-threat performer, excelling in singing, dance and drama.
Since the age of five, she has actively performed and competed both locally and internationally. With over 14 years of experience, she has pursued CSTD, ABRSM, LAMDA and LCM exams to hone her craft and showcase her commitment to the arts.
Vocally, Tamaara is inspired by R&B, soul and pop, enriching her unique sound. At 17, she released her debut single, Hostage, across all streaming platforms. Having begun her teaching career at 16, she is currently a dance instructor at New Heights Studio and freelances as a singing and dance instructor and performer. Tamaara embraces the stage as her true home, and hopes to captivate audiences with her dynamic artistry.
Work
Tamaara's performing arts journey began at six.
In 2011, she performed with the original Hi-5 cast in Singapore, and would go on to showcase her talent at Carnegie Hall, earning second place in the American Protege International Vocal Competition (2018). She sang and danced in the Hong Kong Disneyland Parade (2016), won four vocal gold awards in the Beijing Ladybug Children's Arts Festival (2019) and was the B-Dazzled vocal duet champion (2020).
Some of Tamaara's performances include the Istana (2014), ChildAid (2018, 2019, 2022) and Mediacorp's 2024 New Year's Eve Countdown Show. In 2022, she released her debut single, Hostage, and was main actress, choreographer and dancer in New Heights Studio's recital, New Horizons.
