Cherona Ivory Lee Qi Zhuang
Cherona is graduating with a Diploma in Music, specialising in pop piano. With over 14 years of practical experience, she holds an ABRSM Grade 8 certificate in both piano and theory.
Her solid musical foundation has enabled her to transition into various genres, including rock, jazz and funk. To enhance her versatility, she has also taken lessons in saxophone, drums and voice.
A passionate performer and dedicated educator, Cherona creates a harmonious balance between performance and pedagogy. Through her evocative performances and transformative teaching approach, she aims to inspire a new generation of musicians and instil a deep appreciation for the power of music.
Work
From 2018 to 2021, Cherona performed at notable events, including the Tanjong Katong Girls’ School Symphonic Band Limelight concert at the Esplanade and the Singapore Youth’s Festival Arts Presentation. Her experience includes competitions like the Florence Music Festival and Christmas carolling at Marina Bay Sands.
In 2023, she showcased her keyboard skills at TIMBRE Arts House and participated in the Popaholic event. In 2024, she actively represented her school at the LASALLE Open House, the Rock & Indie Festival, Istana Open House and the Purple Parade.
