Reece Adrian Tabangay
Reece is an audio professional with two years of experience in live sound, recording and lighting.
Graduating with a Diploma in Audio Production, they have worked on a wide range of productions, from school performances that push technical boundaries to freelance and corporate events. Their experience spans various environments, including churches, theatres and large-scale productions.
With a strong problem-solving mindset, Reece excels at troubleshooting technical issues and adapting to new challenges. They enjoy the complexity of live sound, where the learning never stops and innovation drives the industry forward.
Whether working with artists or production teams, they believe in finding balanced compromises to achieve the best results. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, Reece embraces every project as an opportunity to grow, refine their skills and contribute to creating high-quality, immersive experiences for audiences.
Work
Reece worked on both the indoor and outdoor stages of the multi-venue Rock & Indie Festival (2024). At the outdoor venue, they helped to set up and optimise a distributed sound system with over 12 speakers, handling delays and system tuning. Indoors, they assisted the broadcast mixing engineer with the SSL System T, integrating it into OBS using Dante and setting up Dante AV devices for camera feeds.
Reese also served as the broadcast mixing engineer for The Living Composers Series (2024) as well as managed SSL System T and Dante AV for video. To prevent network congestion from over 20 Dante devices, they integrated a Prodigy.MP to separate video and audio networks, improving system stability.
