Emily Kuo Yu Sher
Passionate about music and other audio-related art, videography and photography, Emily started out in audio production after graduating from ITE College Central in 2022 with their Higher Nitec certification in Filmmaking. After learning live sound reinforcement, they developed a deeper understanding and interest in live sound, and an enjoyment for the adrenaline that live shows bring.
An aspiring audio creative, Emily is interested in both studio production as well as working in live shows as a member of the technical crew. Their background in film and music allowed them a different perspective and versatility in supporting live shows and events.
Work
Emily served as the FOH engineer for theatre production Geng Rebut Cabinet by Teater Ekamatra (dir. Fared Jainal) as well as the FOH engineer for Four Blank Walls 2 (2024). They also took on the role of set designer and video editor for the Diploma in Audio Production Year 2 self-devised project, AP Sessions (2024).
