Timothy Augustine Goh Rui En

Timothy is a drummer, composer and pianist.

He began playing drums at 13, quickly gaining experience in school bands, churches and orchestras. He attained a Rockschool Grade 8 certificate at 15, and continues to perform frequently, having played at over 30 events, recitals and competitions.

Influenced by his percussion training and Catholic faith, Timothy's compositional style is unique and diverse, writing for forms such as liturgy, metal and orchestra. His work seeks to explore the mysteries of the divine, the joy and struggles of the human experience. He hopes his music will leave a lasting positive impact on his listeners and support the mission of the church.

An experienced drum teacher, Timothy intends to continue working as a performer, teacher and composer.
