Seet Wee Meng, Stanley
Stanley is a singer-songwriter known for his introspective lyric writing and acoustic-driven production.
His songs touch upon the subjects of complex relationships and the fragile nature of being human, and prioritise the crafting of effective lyrics that consider the flow of melody. Specialising in pop vocals, Stanley has dabbled in coaching both in one-on-one and group settings. He has worked with a range of students, from the young to adults chasing their childhood dreams.
Stanley is incredibly excited to graduate with this highly talented cohort, and aims to release new music in the second quarter of 2025 after a three-year hiatus.
Work
Stanley's passion for writing music has earned him the National Youth Council's Young ChangeMakers Grant and landed him on stages such as Beyond the Label Festival (2022) held at Gardens by the Bay. He is also a frequent facilitator at the Singapore Association for Mental Health, providing its clients with a platform for music exploration.
In more experimental work, he was recently involved in the makings of Rituals in Teletopia (2024), not just as a musician, but as an artist exploring other art forms such as movement and drama.
