Lorenzo Mailum
With 15 years of guitar playing experience, Lorenzo has several recording, composing and producing credits, an extensive performing history and a passion for teaching. Like a Swiss Army knife, he aims to synthesise his vast experience and expertise in music into an all-encompassing career.
Lorenzo is graduating from the BA (Hons) Music programme with a specialism in jazz performance. Upon graduation, Lorenzo looks forward to embarking on a lifetime of learning.
Work
Lorenzo has contributed as a guitarist and songwriter for the indie rock band Coming Up Roses in Waters (2019), Everything Is (2022) and Coming Up Roses (2024) and with experimental hip-hop artist Ailes on Miko (2021).
Notable performances include Baybeats Festival (2018), Fred Perry Subculture (2019), AXEAN Festival (2020), Canadian Music Week (2022), tours of Indonesia and Taiwan (2022) and the Alex Blake and Charlie Sessions (2023).
Lorenzo has performing at the LASALLE Open House with a jazz trio (2023) and with the Swing UAS band (2024).
