Renuka Ulaganathan
Renuka is a Singapore-based mixed media artist and educator whose work explores mindfulness, personal growth and human connection. She is graduating from LASALLE College of the Arts with a Diploma in Fine Arts.
Renuka's practice embraces material experimentation, creating intuitive and reflective works. She has collaborated on various projects, including a site-specific performance Ausfegen (after Joseph Beuys) (2024) by Zaki Razak in collaboration with Li Zhimo, Lujain Ayyad and Sherlyn Langand and as an artist assistant for On Water (2024) by Zen Teh and Lim Sokchanlina.
Renuka began her journey in the education sector as a visual art instructor and later became a teacher at Pathlight School, where she has worked with teens and adults on the autism spectrum. Her teaching deeply informs her art-making, rooted in empathy, inclusivity and community engagement.
Renuka's work was recently exhibited in The Altered 'Assembled' Tales (2024).
