Meng JuanYi, Hazel
Hazel is a visual artist graduating with a BA (Hons) Fine Arts degree from LASALLE College of the Arts.
Her multidisciplinary practice encompasses painting, drawing, photography and digital media, unified by a reflective approach that explores themes of memory, identity and emotional resilience.
Informed by personal experience, Hazel’s work engages deeply with mental health and introspection. Employing a visual language of subtle gestures, soft palettes and layered narratives, she draws attention to fleeting, often overlooked moments—offering spaces for empathy, reflection and emotional connection. Her works serve as both intimate self-inquiry and open-ended storytelling, inviting viewers into quiet emotional landscapes.
Guided by a belief in art’s ability to heal, reveal and preserve, Hazel transforms lived experiences into poetic visual expressions that resonate beyond the personal—bridging the internal and external through a contemplative lens.
